If no data is filed in CAT17 the assumption is that a HIP check is performed.

Travelport do not by default exempt routed fares from a HIP check this is up to Airlines to control in CAT17. If the airline wishes to exempt ALL routed fares from this check you can notify Travelport in writing via e-mail on manualtablerequest@travelport.com If you only wish to exempt a specific market they can code byte 19/20 of CAT17 in ATPCO.
